Death Note ending

OK..I've seen the ending a few weeks ago, but i forgot to make this thread...Even if i said the the ending from Death Note Movie 2 is more detailed, i kinda liked the ending from the anime more. because i liked to see how he gets what he deserves, but i liked even more to see how he fights like a fish on the land and running thinking that he still has a chance.
In the movie, Ryuk was more evil then in the anime, but it did looked more dramatical here. Anyway, another serie that made some waves in the anime world has ended...I think that the next on would be Devil May Cry

I thought this ending sucked so much a** it was rediculous!!! I hated everything about it and the series was entirely too short!!!

Too many episodes.....was too long....it should have ended after L died
I don't like Light died....I wanted him to rule the world.......that world is rotten...good people needed Kira

you say that good people need Kira ?...but WHAT is this GOOD?..are u sure that good won't mean what ever Kira would like ?..think that you would accidentally hit someone or someone would have set you up on a crime or something and for the moment you would have been trown into jail....Even if you are innocent, Kira would have killed you because he saw you on TV . Where's your perfect world with good people in it and Kira as your ruler now ?

u cannot compare few mistakenly crimes by kira with all the people that are killed  by criminals....

Light was a genius at reasoning and logic!!! Surely he can deduct if you are innocent or not by the police report!!! That is why Light would have made an excellent ruler of that god forsaken world!!!

u think light cares about every report?he killed a lot of people whithout caring about whan they have done... 

maybe some was in jail mistakenly

but it does not matter if some die...."they are dieing for the sake of the new world"
maybe is a mistake a 200 people....is not that much

man.....the world is really rotten.....I don't mind if my brother will kill me to change the world....that is not a mistake,is a SACRIFICE.

his sister is not the only sacrifice....maybe it was a important person for him but maybe for a mistake he kills other inocent people dear to others....people are the same....he does not make difference between them and that is good....

i agree its sacrifice and that would have to be if the new world were to take effect but that stupid Near had to kill Light!!! like an idiot!!!

Well i agree with culy in that it didnt matter if it were someone close to him or close to someone else he was willing to make the sacrifice!!!

he prepared ... but still he hesitated if u remember ... that means he still had some "human" feelings ... still he might have seen her as a necessary sacrifice, he couldn't risk everything he made that far ... still i would have hated him even more if he did killed his sis too .. i've started to dislike him ever since he proclaimed himself a god, he friggin' forgot he was a human just because he had that notebook and had a "marvelous" plan that failed ... too bad it failed it would have been great to see a new world ... with no killers and so on ... but i guess it would have ended up in a world of fear "if i do something bad ... kira will kill me" and that god like attitude could have get even worst and he himself become "corrupt" ... we all know that with power it comes a great responsibility, and that power can corrupt, if u allow it ... once he thinks of himself as a god ... he is somehow corrupted already, and uses people as puppets, that is inhuman ... someone like that could never create a new world for humans ... well i kinda hated the end ... it was lame ... still yes kira might have got what he deserved (he wasn't that bad though and his ideals weren't meant to destroy but his ways were wrong) and seeing him struggling for his life maybe reminded him that he was human and not god ... still it's one of the bests anime out there 'cause of many reasons ... too bad it was short the story could have been more developed than this ... this is what i think
