ok here is two stories i stated writing like 2000 maybe... and i never got to finish them, my sis is driving me crazy with the fact that i never finished them, so i'm posting them for advise, should i finish them or are they too boring or something like that...

so here is the first one with out a name...

Story one:

The people of the light city vanished a thousand years a go after what most call “the war of the shadows” a war where the whole world united and fought to save the world from the darkness of the evil wizard “Shandar” no longer serves the good but gave his soul to the dark side. To hell and evil was his world no good in life. No light, only darkness only emptiness.

Chapter one: Strangers in the dark

“Darkness filled the world of men like a black velvet sheet covering the sky, one by one life dropped to a complete silence, and the only thing that could be heard was the distant sound of a battle.
All life seemed to no longer exist; all life either hid in their homes or fell dead with the coming storm.
It would seem to be the end for all men and all life. And the end for eternity.”

“Are you trying to keep the child awake with your ghost stories again Malcom?” asked a big fat man with a bold head dressed in loose breeches, a white shirt and with an apron in his hand. He stood in the doorway watching the startled looks on the faces of the man called Malcom and light brown haired little girl, who was dressed as if ready for bed. They were sitting on the floor by the fireplace.
“Awake. I’m not scaring her if that is what you mean,” said the man named Malcom, who was taller than most men in the village with long, dark brown hair. He was still dressed in his dark brown and green hunting clothes; he was a handsome man with dark brown eyes.
“I was just giving her a history lesson,” he said, now standing to reach his full height.
“A history lesson at midnight! No wonder Lin can’t sleep at night!” said the man, standing by the doorway; he looked a little worried at the little girl still sitting on the floor. Lin was the short name every one used for her, her real name was Brendaline. She had an innocent face with big blue eyes.
Malcom was looking at her too, with a smile on his face. “She looks so much like her mother” he thought, and then said, “She’s not scared Luke! She’s a brave girl with a big heart, and she loves the stories I tell her, don’t you Lin?” he said looking back down at her with a warm smile.
Brendaline looked up at Malcom, smiling back, “yes Uncle Malcom. I do love the stories you tell me, and they teach me a lot of things that mister Covger never would teach” looking a little sad. Mister Covger was her teacher. He taught all the children in the village
“Please, Uncle Luke, don’t let uncle Malcom stop. He was getting to the good part, where the Dark mist comes and the evil spirits march to the gates of the light city, but the keepers of the secret light defeat them with the secret power. I love this story! Please, Uncle Luke, Let him finish it please??” standing beside Malcom and looking at Luke who was still standing by the door with pleading innocent eyes. Malcom had a broad grin on his face; Luke had a disapproving look on his. “Why do you want to hear a story you already know by heart child?” said Luke still looking disapprovingly at Malcom.
Lin looked at both her uncles with worried eyes. She knew what this would mean, every time her uncle Luke gave that look to uncle Malcom it meant there would be a big argument between them, which would end up with them waking every one sleeping in the inn.
“I’m sorry young girl; if you want go over to your friend Rayne’s place you’d better be in bed when I count to ten…” Said Luke “Master Luke sir?” said a bony little man with a long nose that made him look like a mouse with a squeaky voice. Luke was looking at him with a stony face that was hard to make out his feelings about being interrupted. The little bony man seemed to notice because he began to sweat. “What do you want Fresk!” said Luke with a ferocious glair. “Sorry’s for interrupting you, master, and sir. But there is a guest that has just arrived sir. And he wants a room’s sir. So Fresks only wanted to do his job kind master and you knows, I didn’t mean to disturbs you sir. Just thoughts you might’s want to know sir.” Fresk said with an even squeakier voice then before, Giving Luke a long low bow.
“A guest at this hour ….ok I’m coming, must be a traveler or a mad man. Wandering around at this hour” Said Luke shaking his head and with a big sigh said, “Tell him I’ll be right there Fresk. Go on. We don’t have all night!” with another bow Fresk ran off to do as he was told.
Turning back to face Malcom and Brendaline “still here are you, I said off to bed now! Come on!” Luke said with the same bossy tone he used with his staff in the inn. Brendaline gave him a sulky stare and said “O.K. uncle Luke, I’m going. Good night uncle Luke. Good night uncle Malcom. Sweet dreams.” Standing on her tiptoes to give Malcom a kiss on the cheek. Malcom picked her up and gave her a hug and kiss back. Then said “I’ll be up to tuck you in as soon as I get away from your uncle Luke ok? Sweet dreams” know putting her down and giving Luke a broad grin. Brendaline went to Luke who was still standing at the door looking as if he would have that long talk with Malcom that very second, and gave him a kiss. Then said “Uncle Luke I think that guest will fall asleep in the common room if you don’t see to him.” She headed out of the room and up the back stairs. When she was half way up she heard her uncles going out to see to the new guest that had arrived. With a smile she said “at least uncle Malcom wont get that long talk for another half a hour or so.” Grinning she went down the long empty hall leading to her room.

Malcom flowed Brendaline as she went out of the room, standing next to the innkeeper. His eyes followed the girl to the stirs leading up too there rooms.
“Are you trying break the oaths you and I made to the elves, not to tell the girl about her past….” said Luke in a angry whisper. “Nye my friend.” Said Malcom cutting of what Luke was about to say. “I do not plan to break any oaths we made long ago. As I said I was only giving her a history lesion about the wars of the elves. She has every right to learn of them.” Replied Malcom. Still watching the stirs. “ Any way, Luke we have a guest to see to. Or do you really plan to let him sleep in the common room.” Said Malcom looking at Luke. Luke only hesitated for a second and said, “We will continue this talk latter—we better see to that strange traveler. Traveling in this hour. Lucky we were still open isn’t he –well? Are you coming or are you going to stand there and star at me like you haven’t seen my face before. Come on start moving. We haven’t got all night.”  Malcom was in deed staring at Luke with the most startled and amazed gaze. Shaking his head he followed after the fat innkeeper. “ He still manages to amaze me every time. Jumping from one mood to the other, like a cerci’s monkey. An amazing man indeed.” Muttered Malcom to himself. “An amazing man indeed.” Shaking his head. He following Luke down the empty hall to the common room.

Gorden watched the wired sweating little man comeback through the door at the very corner of the common room where he guessed the rooms of the innkeeper and stuff where.
The little man straitened up and walked to where he stood and said in a squeaky voice “Master Luke will be with you in a moment kind sir.” Giving a low bow that would suet a lord or even a king.
With a dazzling smile showing a lot of whit teeth Gorden said “well thank you young man. I’ll wait right then shall I, ah … what’s your name again young man?” Looking at Fresk in interest. “Fresk ! Sir. Would I interest you in something to eat sir? The chicken stew is extremely delicious this evening. And the wine is superb. Made right here in this village. Yes Neptose wine is the finest in this land you mark my word sir the finest.” Fresk said sounding proud of his feet.
“I’m sour it is.” Gorden said “all right I’ll have just that. I haven’t eaten a good meal for days.” Rubbing his hands to gather and wetting his lips. Freak pointed to the nearest table and said “please be sit down here and I will bring you your food.” With another bow he went off to the kitchen.
Gorden sat him self on the table and entertained him self by studding the common room. “Angels blessing” a good name for an inn. The same name the elves and dwarves called the people of the light city. A myth some say others would say a legend. But he knew better. It didn’t matter what he knew. People of this side of the world thought elves and dwarves where myths and legends. Only stories that where told. It makes him sad to see people who think there are no other beings in this world that talk and think like them. But it’s not for him to change their minds. As he saw it the only way to make them know that there are other intelligent beings in this world is to take them out of the safe border of there own homes and show them the world. Which he doubts he would be able to do.
The common room wasn’t as big as most inns he went to, but it would be considered one of the biggest he has seen in the sloth lands that he has visited.
There where six pictures on the walls of the common room, one of a cottage near a river with a young lady that looked very much like an elf, playing on a swing hanging from a tree branch. The second of a man dressed in fine army clothes, the old uniform of the Dermot legion, or also called the Freeman legion, which had his spear up pointing at the sky with lighting coming out of the spear tip. That must be a portrait of the Capitan commander of the free man legion lord John Lukewarth Mangela, one of the best army commanders the world has ever known, that portrait must be old and probably cost more than the hole village it self.
The third panting was of war, somewhere in the north if he was not mistaken, the borderlands of Amonsel, and The war between Amonsel and Tamelgal about ten years ago. A peace treaty was made a year after and the kings of both countries have been friend ever since.
The forth panting was of a dwarves digging in a mine. And the fifth of an elf wedding, some thing he never had seen in his life, but the couple in the painting where defiantly elves. The last of the six paintings hanging on the wall was of a court in a palace must be a palace, but the people in it where not any he has seen in his life. The picture seemed a live, he fond him self drown to it. He got up and waked to where the picture was hung.
Taking a better look at it he could see it was not drown by an artist but by an artist. He could not explain it but this was made by power not paint brash. It was just so real. How the light in the painting reflected on the surface and the people's faces showed their feelings. The man kneeling in front of the king and queen, and the two children playing in the back, such happiness and joy and honor, it was just so un real the court the light shining from the king and queen as if they where the light the where power and…
“I see you have liked my painting sir,” said Luke. Gorden jumped startled at finding the two men standing behind him.
“I… I… ah – yes I think it’s a marvelous peace of art.. Ammm – you must be the innkeeper?” said Gorden, striating up.
Malcom had an amused look on his face. But his eyes Gorden noticed had a gilt of wary in them, that was there for only a second before it vanished.
“Yes I am. We didn’t mean to startle you mister…?” Luke Asked.
“Ah Gorden Fander, you didn’t startle me, you just suspired me.” answered Gorden. Egesting his waistcoat and smiling, he said in a more natural voice “ Gorden Fander, way man and historian at your serves, or you at mine in this moment!” he gave a small bow to the two men standing in front of him.
“A way man, no wonder you’re traveling in this hour of the night!” mattered Luke. “No serves for me at this moment, may be later, know you must want rest, a room of course I’ll see it is peppered for you. Good rooms this inn is made of good rooms. No inn better then mine for miles, no in at all for mile come to think about it…”
“I think mister Fander already knows that old man.” Malcom Laughed. “Know if you finished boasting about your sweet inn, and let the man have his meal.” He said, pointing to Fresk who was standing right behind him. Luke gave a startled jump, and gave Malcom a cross look and the same to Fresk. “ I didn’t employ you Fresk to stand behind me with the guest try of fool. Put it on the table, and then go and pepper a room for our new guest. Go now, move.” Fresk gave a quick bow to the innkeeper and then rushed up stairs nearly forgetting to put the try on one of the table. Luke looked at him disapprovingly, Shaking his head he sad. “Excuse me but I better make sour he doesn’t rack my inn. Enjoy your meal sir,” following after Fresk and muttering angrily about how he would teach him some manners of serving people.

story two:

the storm.

As she ran in to the forest to hide from the hunters, afraid and worried of the end that might come to her and her child, The wind blow hard agents the dark forest, the sound of the rain hitting the forest trees was like a sound of an ever lasting war, but the comfort of the little soul that lay in her arms made her keep going and never stopping.
The running hunting foot steps behind her told her that it was not long before them fond her and killed them both.
Another mile and she would get to safety, just another mile she kept on telling her self.
The flash of lightning in the sky helped her to see how far she was, she had to slow down the hunters before  they got to her , she turned and faced them for a second as a bolt of fire came shooting out of her  left hand. It got one of the hunters in the face, they panicked. some of them fled but the other few kept going they wanted blood, they wanted her blood.
She ran as fast as she could as one of the hunters jumped on her she tumbled and fell, was this the end ,it seemed so as the hunter tour her skin with his bear hand.
But suddenly the hunter stopped as he heard the screams and yelling of his friend, as he turned to see what has happened a flash of lighting took his head off.
As she turned her worry head to meet her doom, there stood a shadow of a tall man. He helped her up to her feet.
He asked her , “are you hurt “
With a sigh of relief she nodded her head. Unable to talk, he saw that the hunter only gave her a miner cut on her arm. As he giddied her to safety, it wouldn’t be long before the hunters came back.
He got her to the temple where the hunters could not enter, for they feared the temple because of the power it held in side.
“we’ve been wetting for you , but when you didn’t come we feared the worst, so GalaAryan sent me to find you.”
Said Markus a knight from the Westford of the golden forest.
"I got stuck in the river, sorry didn’t mean to worry you all. But I thank you for saving our lives me and little Madlen are very grateful that you came when you did"
Said Linda with a smile looking at the now very a wake baby.
As they waked through a door, a warm friendly fire light welcomed them. There stood in the meads of the room the wizard GalaAryan, Mr. Herbit Linda’s husband and two elves one named Felim a faithful friend of Markus and Dermot the son of the elves king.
